New Bike
I got a new bike last week. It's a 2006 Cannondale R800.
I took my bike out for a few rides in the park this weekend, and it performed well. Its first big test will be the MS 150, June 9-10. If you're interested in sponsoring my MS 150 ride (it's a fundraiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society), visit my fundraising page.

I have a similar bike of a different brand (a 2004 Fuji Finest Cro-Moly), and it went 3,000 miles in 5 months without a single complaint (except for my rear tube repeatedly blowing out; I'm blaming that on sucky Indiana roads and a rail/trail bike path that's got too many pedestrians).
I think I see cycling pedals on your bike, too. I forget what kind those are, but I think they only engage one way up onto your cleats. I personally use two-way Speedplay pedals, since I'm a total klutz and need all the help I can get in engaging my feet onto the pedal. To engage the pedal, all you do is indiscriminately stomp the pedal with your cleat.
I'll get back to cycling if the doctors manage to eradicate my infection; right now any sort of exercise (remember, it's immunosuppressive) causes parts of my brain to go haywire and/or rot.
Well, the R800 should be better than the 7.3 or my Fuji, then...
